You probably browse the web everyday, that's how you came here in the first place! However, what is a website and how will this website help you make a website lay-out? Those questions will be answered below.
A website lay-out is the design of a website. Website lay-outs can be easily made with programs like Photoshop or Illustrator, but the real work is in putting the lay-out with an actual online website. However, we're afraid we can't help you on your path to website building and making at this moment. (There have been discussions considering this topic, we might be able to provide some website-making tutorials in the future!)

You can think of a weblayout as a giant picture. You can edit it, add buttons to it, slice it and import it to a program that can make a website out of it. We will explain to you the basics of weblayouts and making them.
I'm looking for a web-layout. Will that cost me money?
That depends on where you're looking! On the web are tons of free templates for you to download, including on this website. However, for some of the templates you have to pay a few bucks, but that's only because the makers want to make some profit from their hard work. If you find a design that's very special and you can't find a free template that resembles it, we advise you to buy it anyway. It might cost you a bit, but it'll be worth it!
